A chef who carefully delivers traditional flavors with a deep love for his hometown, Ehime.
Born in Ehime Prefecture in 1976, he was inspired by his deep love of food and his fascination with the joy of cooking, leading him to pursue a career as a chef. He spent eight years training at an eel restaurant in his hometown of Ehime, honing his skills and sincere attitude. With the experience he gained and his love for his hometown in his heart, he opened "Uwajima Tai-meshi and Eel Motoyama" in Ehime Prefecture. Through Uwajima Tai-meshi and eel, he continues to convey the charm of his hometown and its authentic flavors.
