Mr. Ito has honed his skills at famous restaurants and refined the essence of Japanese cuisine.
Mr. Ito entered the world of cuisine at the age of 15, after graduating from middle school. He then went on to train in Yokohama and Tokyo. After getting more training in Kansai, he mastered the fundamentals of Japanese cuisine at Nara's Garden Hotel and Nishi-Yamato Saeki, renowned for kaiseki and tea kaiseki cuisine. He later worked at the high-end counter-style Kitashinchi Kappo Inaho and learned how to serve up to 1,000 guests at Sendai's Akiu Forest Iwanumaya, before moving to Hachinohe, Aomori. On March 12, 2007, he opened ORYOURI NANAKUSA, which relocated to its current location on May 2, 2016.
