Ms. Yamashiro joined the restaurant industry out of admiration and her love of customer service.
Ms. Yamashiro was born in Okinawa Prefecture in 1990. Inspired by the joy of interacting with people through customer service and her admiration for her older brother, who runs an izakaya, she chose a career in the food industry. She gained experience in customer service at restaurant chains in the Kanto region, independently owned cafes, and her brother's Okinawan izakaya. She currently serves as the floor manager at cafe & lounge LunaSol.
